The scooter was delivered in a matter of days, it was simple to assemble and within a few hours, my son had mastered how it worked. It has been the best purchase I have ever made and fantastic value for money. It has been battered and endured countless knocks yet it has never broken. It is so robust and well designed that I'm sure he will continue to use it until such time as he outgrows it. It goes everywhere with him and has given him hours and hours of fun. I also firmly believe that it has improved his confidence, balance and coordination. I will be buying a pink version for my daughter as soon as she is old enough. A few months ago we purchased a pink Micro Scooter for our 3 year old daughter. Ella has epilepsy and very poor balance, which makes walking very difficult. Using the Micro Scooter has had an amazing effect on Ella's balance. Ella cannot walk more than a few steps without falling over, but she can scoot brilliantly and her walking is getting better as a result. Thomas is enjoying practising on the Mini even though it is pink! He has never learnt to cycle despite great efforts so this is perhaps the way forward for him to find speed and fun at the same time! We live in a cul-de-sac so this would be suitable for him to scoot. At the moment he is trying the Mini in the hall and kitchen, trying to master the break idea. Emily has progressed further than Thomas and we now plan to venture out to the park. I cannot thank you enough for this product as hypermobility makes us struggle with ordinary scooters and cycles. I would just like to say that my daughter has had hours of pleasure from her Mini Micro. From the day she fell in love with one belonging to a friend and from the short time afterwards when she received one of her own, she has been attached to her scooter like no other toy. She uses it almost every day and takes it everywhere she possibly can - and as it is so light and dismantles easily, this is fine with us too. Her 18 month old brother almost has the hang of it, so it won't be too long before we are buying another one for him. It has been great value for money and very well loved. Sarah Rabi. 30th June
We bought our four year old boy Oscar a Micro Scooter and have never looked back! As we are from Australia we had never seen anything like it till we moved here last year. We absolutely love it and have just ordered one for Elliot our two year old today. The footpaths here in Wimbledon are teaming with these little scooters and they pile up in the park and nursery. We bought our daughter a pink Mini Micro scooter for Christmas as her best friend had had one for six months. It was the only present that really mattered for her and since then it has been used multiple times a day. What a fantastic design! So much safer than the metal models. It is heaven! Thank you. My son got his scooter when he was two and a half. He took to it like a duck to water. He is now four and a zooming along on one leg leaning round corners. I believe the experience of riding the scooter so young has given him a real sense of balance, co-ordination and control that you just don't get on a bicycle. All the skills can be used in the years ahead, whether for skate boarding, surfing or snowboarding. He has done the school run on it everyday since my daughter got one, when she was two and three quarters. It means there are no tears about walking and it has made a huge difference to my life. She is now three and I now only have to push a simple pram with my eighteen month old as the others are independent....what a joy! The other benefit is that it has given them a really good road sense. They know never to cross the road without me and never to go out of sight. They have to stop the instant I say so too, so it has helped with obedience and safety awareness as well as given us all great fun.... No doubt I will get the bigger size for my son and get my second daughter on to a scooter in a years time! Thank you for bringing these Micro scooters to the UK, they have reformed the school run.
