Getting the right size child's helmet
Children's head sizes vary by age. We've seen 2 year old children with big heads and 10 year olds with small heads. We therefore recommend measuring your child's head before choosing the correct helmet. Please do measure your child's head to ensure you order the correct size. Click here to watch our video for instructions on how to do so.>>
Which size helmet to choose?
Helmets that are too big or small will be uncomfortable to wear and, more importantly, won't adequately protect your head from bumps. It might be tempting to buy a larger one for your child to grow into, but it's really important to have a helmet that's the right size. We also have tips on encouraging your child to scoot safely. Please visit our Scoot Safe section here >>
Sizing Guide
If your child's head measures between 48-54cm buy a small helmet. If it's between 55-58cm buy a medium helmet. All Micro helmets are certified for scooting, cycling and skating (EN1078 Safety Standard).
