We've been shortlisted for a National Sustainability Award!

National Sustainability Awards 2024

We’ve been Shortlisted!

We are hugely excited to have been shortlisted for a National Sustainability Award.

In their fourth year, the NSA aim to showcase and celebrate businesses with great stories of innovation and breadth of impact across all sectors, helping to build a more sustainable and better future.

We have been shortlisted in the "Circular and Recycling" awards category, which seeks to celebrate businesses identifying and implementing effective ways to create a more circular economy for their products. These businesses help reduce waste and recycle resources to minimise the impact on people and the planet.

Circularity is baked into Micro Scooter’s DNA, so we were thrilled to see this category listed and jumped at the opportunity to enter.

Every Micro Scooter is designed and engineered to last for multiple generations. Central to this is our unique suite of replaceable parts—every scooter can be repaired, revamped, and given a new life instead of ending up in landfill. We have a three-pronged attack to achieve this:

Innovative, Adaptable Design: Micro Scooters are designed to be versatile and adaptable, flexing to the needs of different ages, different usages, and different terrains.
Premium Materials, Expert Engineering: Our scooters are designed with Swiss precision to be the most durable on earth. We constantly strive to find innovative, sustainable materials to continue expanding the ECO ranges.
ScooterAid: Micro Scooters' sustainable and circular design ethos enables our unique giving-back scheme. We ask our customers to return unwanted and outgrown scooters so we can revamp and rehome preloved Scooters with children in need across the UK.

Micro UK has been shortlisted alongside Ovo Energy, NatWest Group, Liverpool Football Club, DPD UK, E.ON UK, Kings College London, The Berkely Hotel, and many more.

The winners will be announced in November. Fingers crossed, Micro will prevail!
