We want to give every child the chance to enjoy the fun and feel-good of life on wheels. And we think it’s our responsibility to ensure every Micro can be loved by multiple generations of children.
Which is why we created ScooterAid – to rehome used scooters with children who would otherwise miss out.
The premise is simple. Every Micro Scooter is built to last. So when your child has outgrown theirs, send it back to us and we’ll do the rest.
We revamp and rehome your used Micro Scooter with children in need across the UK. Every pre-loved scooter you donate to us is another child we can help.
So far you’ve helped us bring some scooting feel-good to thousands of children across the country. Together we can reach thousands more.
Looking after each other. Looking after our planet.

Adventures for all
We have teamed up with InKind Direct to ensure that no child misses out on scooting adventures. You can now choose to make a donation when you check out and that value will be converted into an accessory and sent out to children via worthwhile charities in the UK.
In Kind Direct connects corporate donors to charities in the UK. They don’t rely on financial donations, instead products are what’s invaluable.
“We distribute quality consumer products, donated by some of the UK’s best known manufacturers, retailers and brands, to charitable organisations – including charities, community groups, foodbanks and schools – who join our network for free.”
Micro ensures that the cost of the accessories donated are greater than the value you donate at checkout. Micro will never make a profit from the donation you give, which means that 100% of your donation goes to the people who need it most.
Driven by two core beliefs

Scooting is good for mind and body
We believe scooting is good for mind and body – and we’re on a mission to give as many people as possible the chance to enjoy its benefits.

The best things are built to last
Every Micro Scooter is designed to last for multiple generations – ever extra generation is another child or adult who can benefit and another scooter saved from landfill.
Enabled by our sustainable design ethos

About In Kind Direct
Micro Scooters is proud to partner with In Kind Direct Since 2021, supporting hundreds of charities every year with refurbished scooters donations, providing vulnerable children with tools to have fun and improve their wellbeing. Since the beginning of the Partnership, Micro Scooter was able to support 579 charitable organisations across the UK.
Founded in 1996 by HM King Charles III, In Kind Direct is a UK charity who believes everyone deserves access to life’s essentials and that no usable product should go to waste. By offering a simple and free solution to product giving, In Kind Direct receives donated consumer products, which they then sort, store, and distribute directly to their network of over 6,000 charitable organisations across the UK, including community groups, foodbanks and schools. In Kind Direct help charitable organisations services go further and support communities experiencing a wide range of social issues, from hygiene poverty and domestic abuse to unemployment, homelessness and mental health issues.

Nominate a Charity
We have partnered with In Kind Direct to distribute our revamped scooters to communities across the UK. If you are a charity, nursery, school, community centre or other kind of charitable organisation you can register to become part of In Kind Direct’s network and have access to our monthly donations of pre-loved scooters.
Please note. Products obtained through In Kind Direct can be used in your services or given for free to the people you support. Products cannot be sold or used for fundraising. Scooters are donated on a monthly basis and of varying quantities, so may not always be available.
