Our Maxi Micro is the scooter that launched a school-run revolution. Intelligently designed for 5 to 12-year-olds, its lean-to-steer technology is famous at the school gates. The award-winning Maxi has a larger, wider footplate for older children and an adjustable handlebar height that extends from 67cm to 92cm which means it can grow with your child.

For the toughest adventures, whatever the weather

The anodised stem of the Maxi has been weather tested, including heat proven to an extreme of 180 degrees centigrade. This means no amount of sunlight will dull its vibrancy.

The logo on the upper deck for Mini and Maxi Deluxe is double-injected with anti-slip silicone so the child’s feet can stay firmly planted even in the wettest of conditions.

A fundamental part of the iconic design is to ensure the parts of the scooter can be repaired or replaced. Doing so means you can substitute worn-out parts when needed ensuring the scooter has a never-ending life and doesn't end up in landfill.

What age is a Micro maxi scooter for?

The Maxi Micro scooter is suitable for ages 5-12. It can also be ridden by tall 4-year-olds.

Does the Maxi Micro scooter fold?

The handlebar can be removed from the Maxi scooter for easy storage and transportation. The Maxi Micro Foldable scooter comes with a one-click fold as standard.

Can a 4-year-old use a maxi micro scooter?

The Maxi Micro scooter is an excellent option for tall 4-year-olds. The handlebar extends to last them until their 12th birthday.

Can a 3-year-old use a Micro maxi scooter?

The Maxi Micro scooter is not suitable for kids aged 3. Instead, the Mini Micro is a better option as it has a lighter frame that is much more manageable for a 3-year-old. The lighter frame allows 3-year-olds to be in total control of the scooter, helping them build their confidence and making learning to scoot much easier (and safer).

What is the difference between a Mini Micro and a maxi scooter?

The Mini Micro is suitable for ages 2-5. It has a lighter frame, lighter weight limit, and lower handlebar. The Maxi Micro is suitable for ages 5-12. The footplate is longer/wider, the brake is bigger, and the frame is heavier to suit an older child.
