Please note that this prize does not include any accommodation. The winner will need to book this themselves if required at no further cost to DFDS or Micro scooters.

Entrants must be UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only

In possession of a valid passport

Access to a vehicle that they can drive abroad.

The competition closes for entries at 23:59 on 17/08/2025. There will be 1 winner of a 3-day short break voucher on the Dover-Calais or Dover-Dunkirk routes in total across the UK. The winner will be selected at random by 19/08/2025.

Prize winner will be notified via email and will have 3 days to respond and claim the prizes. If a winner does not respond within 3 days we will re-draw the winner from the remaining entries. Instructions on how to claim the prize will be provided once the winner has been contacted.

Entrants via our newsletter must be UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only in possession of a valid passport and must be in possession of a vehicle, with the rights to drive abroad.

Prize
What’s included in the prize: A voucher for a 3-day short break for up to 4 passengers + standard car on the Dover-Calais or Dover-Dunkirk routes.

Prize Arrangements
Prizes are valid for travel until 22/12/2025 and your return crossing must be booked for travel before 19/12/2025; return crossings after this date will not be valid. Prizes are to be redeemed by reserving a crossing before 30/10/2025. Dates are subject to availability and usual DFDS terms & conditions apply. Voucher is not transferrable, and no cash alternative will be offered. A fee applies for 5 or more passengers. A supplement of £110 will be added for bookings made less than 24 hours prior to departure.

Bookings will only be accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Prizes are non-transferable. 

Prizes are only available for one return crossing on our route between Dover and Calais or Dover-Dunkirk.

For the avoidance of doubt, the prizes exclude any associated costs and expenses which may have been incurred by the winners.  We cannot reimburse the cost of cancelled crossings. 

Prize provider and promoter

Doubt or disagreement
In case of doubt or disagreement about the competition terms, DFDS will determine the interpretation and settle questions according to its own judgment.

On this occasion or on the basis of the execution of the competition, insufficient publication, or other conditions, compensation claims cannot be exercised against DFDS, which also reserves the right to carry out changes or additions to the rules without notice.

Further information 
The organisers reserve the right to publish the winner’s name and photo publicly in any format, for advertising or other purposes, on the internet or otherwise. The winner cannot claim anything in return or challenge such an action, other than relinquishing their prize. Only the organisers shall have access to such information.

The personally identifiable information related to DFDS newsletter subscriptions will be securely transferred to the DFDS database. All personally identifiable information related to the game will be deleted from Leadfamly’s servers 30 days after the end of the game.  

The game is provided by playable (Leadfamly) on behalf of DFDS.   

Personal data collected during registration for playing will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and regulations.   

There is no purchase obligation to participate.  

All material on the site is owned either by DFDS or by external licensors / licensees. The material is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not in any way copy, modify, reproduce, resubmit, transmit or distribute material from this site, including the underlying codes and software, unless permitted to do so. The same applies to pages related to the game on other domains controlled by DFDS.

The content of this site and pages related to the game on other domains controlled by DFDS may only be used for private and non-commercial use. Any unauthorized use, including of DFDS name, trademark and material, will result in claims for damages.

Only one entry is permitted per email address for the duration of the competition.

Employees of DFDS Group and its subsidiaries may not participate.

Micro Scooters terms and conditions

Prizes shown in the promotion are subject to availability and may be subject to change.

Micro Scooters Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition, the Competition Notice or these Rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the Competition Notice or these Rules

Other than the entry requirements detailed in the competition there is no further action required and social media accounts that ask you to share further information may be fake and should be ignored.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, Competition Notice, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Micro Scooter Ltd shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

Prize cannot be in anyway redeemed for cash. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be resold.

This prize promotion is open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and residents of the Republic of Ireland. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over, excluding employees and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” family), of The Promoter, The Supplier, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion.

No third party or bulk entries. If it becomes apparent that either a participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer-generated entries, using multiple identities, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these participants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the prize promotion and acceptance of the prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

Data Protection: Any personal information that entrants share with the Promoter will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions unless the entrant has opted in to future marketing from the Promoter and/or the Supplier. By entering the promotion, entrants agree that their information may be used by the Promoter to administer the promotion and winners consent to give their name and county for the winners’ list.
