The Maxi Micro is designed to grow with your child. The adjustable handlebar starts low enough for confident 4 year olds, then extends all the way up to age 12. That means better posture, more control, and a scooter that lasts years rather than months.

Parents often choose the Maxi over a smaller scooter to avoid an early upgrade, especially if their child is tall for their age.

Can a 3-year-old use a Micro maxi scooter?

The Maxi Micro scooter is not suitable for kids aged 3. Instead, the Mini Micro is a better option as it has a lighter frame that is much more manageable for a 3-year-old. The lighter frame allows 3-year-olds to be in total control of the scooter, helping them build their confidence and making learning to scoot much easier (and safer).

What is the difference between a Mini Micro and a maxi scooter?

The Mini Micro is suitable for ages 2-5. It has a lighter frame, lighter weight limit, and lower handlebar. The Maxi Micro is suitable for ages 5-12. The footplate is longer/wider, the brake is bigger, and the frame is heavier to suit an older child.
